DIAGNOSED “TOTALLY WHEELCHAIR DEPENDENT"

“Returning home I reached into the back of the car for the steering lock and felt severe pain in the lower back.  After going into the house I lost the use of my left leg and couldn’t walk or stand.  I was admitted to hospital where I stayed for TEN weeks.  After numerous tests I was diagnosed “totally wheelchair dependent” and without any diagnosis or reason why.  I was re-admitted to hospital where a further biopsy was done which showed an unidentified disease in the thigh muscles and I was told it “may or may not recover” and that there was no known treatment available.

I decided to try acupuncture and after a few sessions can now leave the house on crutches and am moving around the house unaided.  The improvement is vast and I intend to continue with this treatment.”
