BURNING’ & SEVERE PAIN IN NECK & SHOULDERS. 

“My symptoms first started about six years ago when I began to experience severe pain and burning in my neck and shoulders. I went to my GP who prescribed painkillers. After several weeks the pain had got no better, so I was referred to a Specialist at Stoke on Trent .

I was given a brain scan and was told I had severe muscle damage which he thought was due to an accident, but I had not had any kind of accident. He said that the only thing he could try was ultra sound. After several visits to Stafford hospital I still found no relief. 

During the next few years I tried treatment from a Chiropractor and a Physiotherapist, neither of which really helped.
Last year my GP sent me for an X-ray at Cannock Hospital which showed I had Spondylitis and was sent yet again for Physiotherapy.

I was shown some exercises to do and told that apart from this there was nothing more which could be done.
