I first saw Paul Clusker in May 2006. At the time I was suffering from pain from my neck to my lower back, with loss of feeling in both hands. In particular, I had pains shooting down both sides of my neck (like ‘electricity’) and stiffness in my neck and across both shoulders. I had suffered with these symptoms since I had suffered a very serious assault in 2001.

I was finding it very difficult with day to day tasks which invariably caused pain, numbness or pins and needles in my arms and hands.

Before I saw Paul I had already seen my GP who arranged for me to see various Specialists at the Hospital. I also had Physiotherapy and had been prescribed a variety of different medications recommended by various Specialists. Unfortunately, none of the treatments or medication seemed to help.

Paul treated me with a combination of Osteopathy and Acupuncture and after the second treatment I felt a lot easier and relaxed. After the fourth treatment things really started to improve until after the seventh treatment I was really feeling the best I had done in over five years.

I now have the odd ache in my back which goes away quickly and I don’t suffer with the pins and needles or numbness anymore.

It’s been 12 months since my first consultation with Paul and when he discharged me his advice to me was ‘come and see me about once every three months – just like an MOT – to make sure you stay well’ I have followed his advice and am really pleased at just how well I feel.
